Gibralter is loomed by hand and has a beautiful, almost watercolor-like heathering, that reminds one of the limestone cliffs of the rock of Gibraltar. Made of 100% New Zealand wool and a blend of bamboo and silk, this rug takes neutral to a new level with an almost painterly stonework design. Don’t let subtle color deter you — whether your home is embracing cool grey's and blues, or very warm browns and ochres, this piece has a chameleon-like way of blending in organically into whatever space it finds itself. Maybe it’s the organic, natural heathering of these yarns, maybe it’s the humanity behind the artisans who hand make the rug. One thing is certain — when you want a vital and elemental piece to bring both depth and lightness to your home, the rock of Gibraltar’s not a bad start.

• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid pile flattening.
• Frequent vacuuming with a quality machine (Do not use a vacuum with the beater bar brush on rugs containing loop on silk or viscose).
• Shedding of excess yarns can occur for several months after purchase, clip gently with scissors, do not pull loose fibers.
•Remove spills immediately, blot with clean un-dyed cloth by pressing around the spill to absorb as much as possible.
