MY RUG IS SHEDDING, IS THAT NORMAL?

Shedding is when small pieces of fiber come loose from the rug. Sometimes it might seem like a lot of fiber is coming out of the rug. In fact, this is normal for a new rug and should subside within a couple of months.

SHOULD I ROTATE MY RUG?

Yes, depending on the construction of the rug, the rug may show different fibers in different lights. Rotating your rug can also help keep the high-traffic areas aka those areas not under furniture, cleaner over time.

MY RUG HAS AN INTERESTING SMELL, IS THAT NORMAL?

A rug can develop a pungent order due to shipping and transit time, however; the smell will dissipate one the rug is open and aired out.

DO I REALLY NEED A RUG PAD?

We encourage all customers to use a rug pad but it is not required. Rug pads help keep the rug, and you, from slipping on non-carpeted flooring and add a bit of extra cushion.

WHICH FABRIC IS BEST FOR AN AREA RUG?

Depends on your preference! We recommend a handmade or hand-knotted rug as they have a longer lifespan than a synthetic rug.

WHY IS MY AREA RUG FADING?

Be sure to rotate your rug to ensure it gets direct sunlight from all angles. 

SHOULD I HAVE MY AREA RUG PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED?

We recommend using the care instructions that are printed on the back of your rug. If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out to us.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Your order will ship within 7-10, however we aim to ship in-stck rugs out within 48 hours. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping notification email with tracking.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Shipping is calculated at checkout and is based on the weight of your rug and the delivery address. Shipping is free on orders over $500.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We try to ship all orders within 24-48 hours and current delivery estimates are between 10-15 days. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping notification email with tracking.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES?

We offer small swatches of each rug type so that you can see, feel and experience the rug before purchasing. You can find the swatch option on each product page.

I'D LIKE TO RETURN/EXCHANGE MY RUG.

If you have any questions/concerns about the rug you ordered, contact us here to initiate your return/exchange.

RUG TIMELINE?

Because each Resonnaire piece is made by hand, each piece has it’s own time signature as well. Some are already made, and you’ll see that noted in the description. Some other pieces are “in-progress” — and the specific timeline of each piece will be noted as well.

If you’re giving your Resonnaire piece as a gift that may be needed sooner than the rug can be completed, we also offer beautiful certificates of purchase, noting which piece has been purchased, where it is being made, and when it will arrive on your giftee’s doorstep.
